Virginia Substance Use Block Grant (SUBG) Reports

Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) Office of Behavioral Health Wellness (OBHW) distributes Substance Use Block Grant (SUBG) funding to 40 Community Services Boards (CSBs) across the commonwealth to plan, implement, and evaluate activities aimed at preventing and/or decreasing substance use. These reports provide an overview of block grant prevention activities in Virginia.

SUBG is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and was formerly known at the Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG)
