About Us
Designed by OMNI Institute in partnership with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, the Virginia Social Indicator Summary (VASIS) is a data hub exploring the behavioral health and wellness of Virginians. First launched in 2015, VASIS compiles years of behavioral health data from agencies and organizations across the state with a goal to centralize key indicators of behavioral health and wellness and provide a resource for needs assessment, epidemiological monitoring, and planning efforts.
